The Maryland Multi-Housing Association (MMHA) is proud to announce that its Leasing Training Academy (LTA) has been awarded funding through the Employment Advancement Right Now (EARN) Maryland Grant Program for the second consecutive year. This continued investment recognizes the LTA’s commitment to workforce development, career accessibility, and connecting Maryland residents with meaningful employment opportunities in the residential property management industry.

The award is part of a statewide announcement by Governor Wes Moore and the Maryland Department of Labor, which allocated more than $4.7 million in EARN Maryland grants to support industry-driven workforce training initiatives. The funding will help more than 1,700 Marylanders access training and industry credentials while connecting nearly 600 individuals directly to employment opportunities across several high-demand industries.

Among the organizations selected for funding, MMHA was recognized for its continued efforts to strengthen the residential leasing workforce throughout Central Maryland

Receiving EARN Maryland funding for a second consecutive year marks another important milestone for the Leasing Training Academy and reinforces the value of collaborative, employer-driven workforce development.

With this renewed support, MMHA will continue expanding access to industry-specific training, strengthening relationships with employer partners, and preparing the next generation of residential leasing professionals.

The investment will also support the LTA’s ongoing efforts to bridge the gap between individuals seeking sustainable careers and property management companies seeking qualified talent.

As the residential property management industry continues to evolve, MMHA remains committed to developing innovative workforce solutions that benefit both employers and the communities they serve.
